The Musical Theater Dance Workshop teaches essential principles of performing musical theater. During this four-week intensive, students practice and hone their singing, dancing and acting skills, in a fun and supportive environment. They will learn basic voice, dance and acting techniques as well as the technical execution of sets, costumes and props, integrating these into three exciting final performances. Within the experience, we foster mentorship; we strive to create an exciting, non-competitive atmosphere where the veterans support and encourage newcomers. Our staff of interns are chosen from the many students we have had in the past. They set a high standard of performing while guiding and supporting their charges through the rigors of the workshop.

The kids' classes run Tuesdays and Thursdays in August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. There is an additional rehearsal (dress rehearsal) on the evening of Thursday the 26th. For the first two weeks, classes will be held at the Waldorf School in Cotuit. More WALDORF info here
